All the sifus,
Where do I get the polycarbonate sheet from KL?
What tools must I have to cut it since it is supposed to be tough?
Thanks.
Abu Island,
try signage shop
cut polycarbonate with saw, file or sand it to required shape
its Not that tough
Fun 2 Fish, Fish 4 Fun
it tough in the sense that it’s almost unbreakable when bent. it’s flexible enought for you to bend compare to acrylic that is brittle.

Thank you my sifus. Some lure making companies advertise the polycarbonate bibs as some material that is bullet proof. Now I must take it with an ocean of salt.
can use vcd cover or not ?
how about phone card ? ( maybe hard to find right now )

easy way to test whether the material suitable or not, bend it upward then downward. if it breaks, then you better not considering it [:)].
I’ve found some more suitable options for polyC.. food container (tupperware), the removable separator of your lure box [:D]. but the only thing is that they are not transparent and softer compare to polyC thus tend to bend if high pressure applied.
the phone card atcually can be used for small lures but again not transparent. how ever i used them for the fins / tail part as you can simply cut out the desired shape using a pair of siccors

Other options: SS Steel sheet, Spinnerbait blades, alcheapo spoon, aluminum sheet, & some of the more expensive photo frames are actually polycarbonate (don’t blame me if ada orang marah pasal u potong picture frame LOL), glass plastic cermin mata tu put polycarbonate jugak.

FR,
Any chance of getting slightly thicker polycarb for deep diver?
RainbowRunner
Tightlines and screaming reels
RR
no problem
2.0, 2.4 or 3.0mm also got
the price is slightly higher but not significant
BUT, anything 2.0mm or thicker comes in a sheet of 4’ x 6’
shall need more devotees to share out
alternately, can glue 2 pcs of ploycarb together then sand it to yr required thickness with rotary tool hehehehe

Structural strength not the same. Am now experimenting on spinner bait’s blades![;)]

The purpose of a clear lip is so it doesn’t add to the size of the lure and not create unnecessary reflection which sometimes turn off a fish. So keep that in mind when designing a lure with metal lip.

As long as you have the contact, we are alright. Let me try with the spinnerbait spoon first and see the results.
