Just to share a great trip I had with my Philippines friends.
Ricky , Chito & Joel love to lure fishing.
They contacted me for 2 DAYS planned fishing trip for barramundi and wild toman fishing In Thailand.
We have our usual fun , luring and fighting the monsters barra at Boon Ma on our 1st DAY. The greatest rewards of the 2 days trips is for Ricky to land his 9KG toman on our 2nd day of the fishing trip.
What can I say !!! Well done Ricky !!!

Toman fishing in the wild is the most challenging sport fishing in Thailand. These toman fishes here are fearous and strong and they are not 'easy’to catch. You need patience, local knowledge and precise casting skills to land one.
The best time for Thailand toman fishing is from Jun-Sep which also happen to be their mating seasons. The tomans are more agressive during this mating period.
I’ve fished many predators fishes including the popular arapaima (20-70KG) on lure personally. I always find fishing toman in thailand fancinating & exciting. Don’t ask me why, you go fish them in the wild lake, you will understand. I kenna posion deeply. :?
On and off, when I’m not fishing, I always make a point to fish toman with my thai lurers kaki in those wild lakes near bkk.
Let cut the lomng story short, here the CR I done for them.
