Nowdays is just not like last time when we were small hmmmm… Nowdays even letting my kids play outside the main gate also i will sit there n watch over them…F*&%# addicts n unemployment leads to this kind of social deseases…Life to them is nothing and they really don give a damm when they are high n mainly due to influx of fereighner…
Sometimes it really makes me angry learning one human life is taken away just because of a patty issue…
My utmost condolences goes out to Victor’s family. It’s really sad to read something like this. May those that did this to him ‘rot in hell’. Their karma will not be good.

Its really very sad and frightening. Just the thought of a fishing outing which could turn so tragic.
Looks like its true…our country…Malaysia has gone to the dogs.
We do have a lot of foreigners, (both legal and illegal).
We have thousands of drug addicts nation wide…
From simple gum sniffers to hard core addicts.
Ages ranging from school going kids to grandfathers in their sixties.
Some of them are willing to rob and kill just for a fix/high.
And most of them are not bother with the law, and they are not afraid of our Police force.
I wonder whose fault is it???
Our Police???
Our Government???
Our Political parties???
Our education system???
Their Parental up-bringing???
Or our society, as a whole???

… My condolences… the reality is that it could happen to any
one of us…
Influx of illegal immigrants, took away all the low-level jobs.
So what are the locals who suppose to fill this niche to do,
but to resort to illegal means to make ends meet. Not a day goes
we do not hear of snatch-thief, robberies, many of which resulted
in death of decent hard-working citizens.
I would’nt blame just the illegals immigrants for the crime, but
also the locals displaced by them.
Solution obviously lies in better control of our borders and active
deportation. Other countries only takes in the best-of-the-best from
other countries to be our PR, we took in the worse-of-the-worse.
However, it seems our govt is more keen on politicking and going after
political opponents instead of solving the root cause of so much of our
country’s problem.
… Happy Merdeka… yet it is hollow if we can’t even go fishing without
fear of being murdered!

The Police??? - Looks like they are more interested in catching China Dolls…watch news on TV. There are raids 3-4 times a week.
Our Government - They are more interested in mega projects.
Our Political parties - They are so occupied in finding each others’ fault. Or busy fighting for support from their party members / rakyat.
Last year I was at Tasik Metropolitan (my first time there), I was watching people fish and had a chance to talk to an ‘Apek’ and a ‘Pak Cik.’ So I inquired about all the tasik in KL and if anyone could fish there at night???
Their answer and advice was…
“NEVER NEVER EVER go fishing at night at any of the tasik especially AT NIGHT… ALONE… or with JUST another friend. The two of you might get mugged and robbed!!!”
I was really shocked by their honest answer.
As what Foo said is true…its not like the good old days.
Where its safe to park (our bike/car) anywhere. And its safe to go everywhere.

I for one just cannot understand how some people can treat human life so cheaply. You want to rob - take lah, but why go to this kind of an extent ?
I am sure that all our hearts go out to the family and loved ones.
At the same time, unless the authorities can make things safer, use our heads to try to avoid becoming another statistic ya ?
