Abu Revo S or Daiwa Exceler 100 baitcaster.

Hi Guys,

Need your advice for this 2 baitcaster.. Anyone have experience both reels before? Just now go to the shop in Kulim and found this reel. Both price about Rm 450 to 495.. But I do not know how to choose..

Addicted baitcasting now.. Wuwuwuwu.. T.T

i had a revo power crank, think its more less same like revo s. the magnetic cast control can throw normal to heavy lure damn far better than shimano of same price range but not light lures. the gear is damn big and tough and retrieve is smooth but not refine smooth as shimano.

no idea about daiwa.

So how bout the price? Still ok? The tag price is RM 495 but I think can reduce a bit.. So normal usage is fine right? Think wannt use it to tackle snakehead. [8D]

i bought power crank rm700 bit higher than market price kena con la but not like too much con la so swallow it and carry on.

i use power crank for 99% of the time on snakehead. you can see my power crank picture posted in mfn forum haruan dan anda posted by my friend mizlan darkartcaster. damn tough reel. i sold it off yesterday for rm250 cheap coz to a friend. not that its not good but i got new toy so old toy sell off to cover budget. i miss it already, landed many haruan with it. Perfect for snakehead.

i was from sg petani then got married with labuan girl settled down here for 5 yrs ready, now got 2 kids.
if i go back hometown once or twice a yr, will look for you. or if you come labuan look me up.
but labuan cast haruan use plastic frog only not like those days back in sg petani use live frog.

now no more use live frog la since haruan so abundance and easy to catch here with plastic. if go to sabah u will catch so many til boring lo. til my fren dont bother to snap photo anymore his memory card ran out.

rm495 for revo s? that’s kinda expensive… kinda really expensive i think.
have the prices gone up so much?
if i remember correctly, i saw a shop in pj selling revo sx 2010 (black and red one) for rm470. and the stx 2010 was like rm530.
but that was like a few months back.

look around a bit more, before buying. u might find a better deal.

i love to eat haruan but to my surprise labuanite consider eating haruan difficult to understand.
tats why labuan still a lot haruan here. my mother in law catches and sell crabs for living, she always take my haruan as bait for crab. better if toman, according to her tats the best bait. surprises u see in labuan.
