As some of you may already know that we went out on 2 different boats that day and had a sort of mini comp but I guess Ben’s boat got the honours…

Nothing much to show except this cermin… Altho’ we had our fair share of ‘bites’ and huge s’pore marlin but didn’t bother to take any pics…

Nice meeting you too. I am really excited to get one of those samsons - Dec/jan best time. I am no Tai Koh but will try my best to look after all visiting fishos.
Hopefully the weather is on our side. Thomas’ PE 8 rod is still awaiting a good workout (still virgin at this stage) although the PE6 has been bent quite a few times!
Maybe the whole gang could come along!

I am seious about the samson fishing. Between Oct and Jan this year I went 3 times but did not msmanage to get out due to weather conditions.
If you can confirm when you guys can come, how many, I will try to make a booking. Just bear in mind that you may come all the way and still not be able to go out. If you guys could stay longer we can go to kalbarri too (600km north of Perth.
All gear is provided by the charters but you can bring your own. Better fun using your own gear. Bring at least a PE6. Thomas makes some nice butt joint rods.
Samson fishing is in Perth. Airfares is expensive in Decmber, maybe cheaper in January.
