For those of you who have not experienced this you may think that running water will just sweep you away. It doesnt. In actual fact it will suck you down.I am toking thro experience. It happened to me while swimming accross Sg Perak in the early 80’s and im lucky to be alive still. My advice…DO NOT ever attempt risking your life even if it may look safe!!!

Sad news, Rie Cell lemas under what circumstances? Ambik gewang jugak?
It was on his 3rd attempt to retrieve lures that morning when tragedy struck. 1st 2 attempts were successful. They managed to find him after a while but CPR applied was futile

The only person I can think off in our gang who would do this kinda thing(dive to save lure) is Sild. Sild, we hope you won’t do this silly action in future bro.
hmmm…not only sild…loban also, me also, watson also, lapala also…
me n watson always swim to retrieve our lures at Bt Ferringhi area…but we know the tides, the rocky terrain and surroundings… coz we’ve been there during high & low tides, and have fished more than 10 years there… but still, if we find the conditions not good, we will just cut the line and come back another time to retrieve it…i think its about knowing when to surrender or call it quits…
hope everyone here take heed, and be careful when fishing
fishing community promoting this lure that lure is so good until some angler could not afford to loose it. they treat it so precious more than their life. too bad accident happens but we should know how to avoid it. mencegah lebih baik dari mengubati.
