looks cool. but doubt malaysia got dy. but no real need yet la i think. for 25USD, u can get at least 3 new lures dy, TJS. with possibly some spare money to get a regular cutter.

Hmmmm…lets do some calculation here…hmmmmm…works out to be about RM 83 for the gadget. [B)] Expensive man.

If you chaps are interested in something similar..er…at least similar function la…at a fraction of the cost…contact me[;)]</font id=“purple”>

Are a pair of clippers that hard to use? What do we need next, an automated knot tying device [:D]

Not knocking you, but I have a couple of those ! Tying knots was not a problem originally, but age puts a crick in your fingers, and bad eyesight either means bi focals, or trying to fumble around with your glasses on top of your head.[xx(]

Only trouble ( after I recovered from the shock of the bill ) is that I have not yet found somebody kind enough to help me read Japanese [:D]

Mike,
These young cikus will know the advantage of owning a knot tying machine when their time comes!

Shock of the bill? You didnt by chance buy the Daiwa product, did you? Bought my Japanese no brand (actually there is but cant read Nippon-go)from Sea tackle in PJ. Asked one of the staff there to teach how to use the machine.

RainbowRunner

Tightlines and screaming reels

That is exactly what I did when I went with EK to the warehouse sale !

No problems, the 3 ladies were too busy on that day - but have promised to help me when I go again. Thanks for reminding me ![:D]

Errrrr…do you mean the FG knot device? If so…Thomas can help u on it.

Dunno what it is supposed to do [:o)] The only Englander words are " National " followed by " Line Twister " BH-716P … and Yes, at the back it says " Made in China ".

Thanks, but EK says that he can fumble with it until it works - and the ladies in SEA Tackle will be a nice fall back position if he messes up.

Will try both and report.[:D]

Errr…do the gadget works something like the fly tying device whereby you have to spin forward and later backward to create the FG knot? If thats the gadget then maybe i can show you how it works</font id=“purple”>

I think you guys are talking about the bobbin used for tying the GT / PR knot.

There are a few examples on youtube on using the device.

thanks for the info bro [:D] you never, I may need one eventually in the future. I must admit, tying knots is extremely difficult in sub-zero temperatures. worst still if there is wind chill. that’s even for a young and able person. I keep my fingers crossed that i’ll remain healthy and strong [:)]
