dear friends,
do you encounter a problem where your braid starts losing its wax and starts taking on water..i realise that after x amount of cast, the braid gets soaked you’re left with heavier line.(maybe i was using al cheapo braid),another of my line have completely lost it’s colour ( and its wax)..can we re apply wax the line..i was thinking a DIV project with this in my mind…power pro suggest that you re-color you line with permenant marker…[:D]

Use Pelagique PE Coat to seal the line but it will not bring the color back .

It’s not what you don’t know that gets you into troubles , it’s what you know for sure that ain’t so . Mark Twain .

one of the greatest achievement in using braided for me is always when the colour absolutely fades

anyway braid usually will collect water, try fuse for lesser water intake, but they still take in water albeit in a smaller amount compared to braid. Or use thinner line for lesser water uptake too.

Imho, colour on braids are some of the most expensive waste of time

Novice angler here, any constructive advices greatly appreciated. Thank you

Same here … in fact the girl behind the Braid Counter in Kepong was probably thinking that I was up to something because of the amount of stuff that I bought for my small scale experiments.

Just cannot understand why all the manufacturers fail to get the technology right.

Right now I use yellow and / or light green - least difference with white when they fade after a few weeks.[:)]

hmm..how about the wax..its seems the colour fades away when the wax does..can we re-coat the line with new wax?
.. we can’t use household wax as the wax molecule is to big..is the an industrial type was than can be used to supliment this..
