To fish or not to fish, tat is da question
wanna break in line, dont use popper… you dont get enough water pressure to break it… use deep diving crank… such as fat rap
Novice angler here, any constructive advices greatly appreciated. Thank you

Why do you have to break in the line?
Tak boleh use it to fish straight away?
welcome mate… we learnin from each other ma afterall this is fishing forum right
Fish attack mate, line tat’s broken is much nicer to use, they are smoother(not stiff) and can cast better afterwards… anyhow our fren here very smart, he fish n break the line 2 things at one go hehehe

hahaha..thanks tan for complimenting me..true enuf, i told my wife i have to break in the line b4 my upcomin trip, she is so understandin n said go la but come back for lunch yar..I said ok..
So btw, had a chance to break in the line over da weekend..it started wif a few short cast jus to get the feel of my new rod, reel n line.
Being a 6’6 definately wont gif u da distance however i am happy cause if is more controlable when i tried side casting with trees above u..Of course i have bent down a bit avoiding trees however accuracy is so important so tat u can avoid snaggin yur lures. So below wud be my field report;
Rod: overall good 8/10, easy to handle, light n easy to control (was practising walkin da dog n after a few try, i feelin like a pro)hahahah
Reel: 7/10, not to happy cause i feel da retrive is not so smooth, may haf to send for re-oiling. Will gif another report after my upcomin trip
Powerpro lines: 9/10 so far, getting smooth able to cast far. after 3 hours of casting, check da line still look new! Surprising my improved fg knot to 2 meters monoline went out so easily without feeling anything during cast n retrieving..
