Brisbane spring fishing

I have the best spring time fishing of my life. For the last 10 weeks I have caught 11 threadfins/senangin. The smallest fish is 101cm and the biggest is 122cm. Many of my friends had enough of this fish, I hope i won’t take this fish home for the next 6 months.
tengiri and mangrove jack will be my next target.

if not mistaken, the last photo is Kurau not senangin. Look at the beard.

KurauKing, any such sizes of fish in Port Klang? I want to join too! :slight_smile:

Thanks. Once the govn clean up the major rivers, this type of fish will come back to the estuary. But it seems like Malaysia still long way to go.....

wow…freeking huge senangin bro, the biggest i have seen. Port Klang has that size but Kurau not Senangin. I hve seen a guy caught a 7kg plus Kurau from a bridge in Pulau Indah.

Snook, you are wrong. Those ‘Port Worker’(North Port or West Port) uses live octopus(drifting) to fish for senangin(inside the wharf) and those senangin are bigger then the Kurau i am holding…[:D]

Kurauking, It is good to see there are still big senangin in Port Klang. I hope other people can share the joy of eating and catching this beauty. WELL DONE.
