I think TF is not bad, usually wont empty handed. But so far I can only catch something using seluang. I caught Pacu, Toman and Patin, all using seluang.

Ya lo…went to TF 3 times ONLY…once to recce the place…once to gauge the situation with some casual fishing…final time to WIN the competition…Imipek takes the CROWN!!!..Bravo..Bravo…only need to fish twice…now Imipek firmly footed in the Mahaguru Clan[;)]

1st time I step my foot in TF was on the competition day itself. Landed 2 patins.
2nd time was also on Sunday (bout 1month later) - No fish bite also.
3rd time went there to see the Spin fly (2 weeks ago)..

wow…sifu ac..i been saying this for ages now…now got promoted to super mahaguru oledi…when its comes for real apek(real apek is very demanding and his staff need to work their bumm off to get promoted)..so ur realy lucky to hear it from his mouth…heheeh

There’s the Empangan Air Kuning, Shah Alam where i frequent. Mainly lure and fly fishing la. But talk nicely to the fella, can use bait.

How is the rate for this place? From the wikimaps, the dam is very big. Does they provide boat rental?

What fish does they have?

Its RM15 for weekdays and RM18 for weekends. Boats are available, RM8 per hour or RM20 for the whole day, included trolling motor. Catch rate is very good, given the right bait is used. Tons of fishes. Mainly are peacock bass, jelawat, tilapia, pacu, toman, sebarau, haruan and many others. The ones i mentioned are the abundant ones. Here are some of my catches..

Jelawat of about 2kg.

Tilapia of 1.5kg.

There are other catches but these are the 3 easier ones.

Thanks. Can use bait la. Prefer no dedak though. They encourage lure and fly fishing but bait’s ok too.
