Well !!! There a saying: Keep the best for the last.
I reserve 3 fishing ponds for them to roam around to fish. Each barra pond consist of 1500-2000 barra fishes inside. One pond has barra 10kg to 12kg inside.[;)]To get them, you need high skills and tactic. The day ended nicely with each of them landed a few 6-7.5kg barra and numerous 5kg size.
The fight ??? I’ll let you guys watch those actions pack video clips yourself & be the judge.
Let start the CR for DAY 2.
This trip the wife didn’t come along, she went shopping and left the 2 big men to face the sun & the fish themselves.
Those must needed cold face towel & drinks. ![]()

We arrive just in time to see Boon Ma worker feeding the barra.
Just to sidetrack abit, those barra fishes at Boon Ma are usually feed everyday.
That’s why they can grow up so fast , fat & big.
Good enough for any angler to test out all his light tackle to the max.

Open up my car boot to reveal a box of thai guron lures.
Alfin & Tay each bought 1 from me to test it out the lure.
Needless to say, those barra fishes whacked and makan up their guron lures after 2-3 landings.

Each lure was autograph by the lure maker himself as requested by me.
Can be a collector item for some. ![]()

All standby and ready to touch water.

The end results after those guron lures touched water.

At the end of the day, left only 3 empty boxes and 1 guron standing.
All kenna eaten up by those hungry barra.
