Hosted a dinner for staff and customers at Rasa Sayang..Burnt a hole in the pocket bigger than Pokeback arses combine..

Well… holes can always be patched up!

The buffet and food looks really good. Can I ask what type of buffet, when is it available and how much (per person) does it cost to dine there? Thinking of dropping by when I’m back [;)]

Latok, I have a dumb question - want to put this up in the blog?

FB - while Rasa Sayang buffet is really excellent, I prefer E&O’s lunch/dinner buffet.
Lunch on weekdays is under RM50 per person, no idea about weekends/dinner prices.
PS: I have no affiliations with E&O, just that I think it’s great value over at E&O when compared to RS.

Bert.. itsseafood/italian/japanese/local…combine.. cost rm137++.but if you are a citibank card holder there is a 20%discount.Food ok..

Food there used to be very delicious when Lannun first introduced me when it was still new. But after I have went back for the 2nd and 3rd time, the quality has changed. I used to rate it 9/10, now I rate it 6/10.

Thanks for the info guys! In that case, I’ll probably go with Minnow’s recommendation (E&O). It’s been ages since I’ve been to a hotel in Penang for buffet lunch. The last time I was there, I went to Equatorial Hotel for the Japanese buffet sunday lunch. The food to the dessert was excellent and so was the price (RM65 per person back then). But that was like more than 10 years ago. Oh btw, does anyone know of Equatorial still do their Japanese buffet (do they do it on weekdays)? [?]
