as for cost,depend on pax, boat size.. normally we spend ~$300 including self-service makan (B/L/D), accomodation, live prawn, car petrol, for one day..

ebek is still around, though much lesser; I know at least 2 skippers in Pekan brought anglers out earlier this year and ta pao 40+ ebek range from 3kg-8kg back to shore for consecutive weeks. When they want to sell their future for todays glamour and arrogance, I can’t stop them. What I will do is quickly made a booking with othes before the awesome fish end up extinction in Pekan waters.
I just got back last 2 weeks ago. Hit my fishing blog to check it out bro. smaller size they are going but >15kg cobias are lurking around unjam areas. not one not two but close to dozen in a day fishing.

i prefer go jig2 and if i can hit 3-4 ebeks then i will close shop and relax, smoke and drink beer abit.. get small hook and play with small fish…above caught is for 6 pax..
