Hi guys.. Need your advice here.. I need to know it there any rod that without line guide sell in our market?? I saw this kind of rod last 3 years, but at that time it is very expensive., You know la, I am just a student, so I only manage to see it in the display shelf.. hehe.. But now I am graduated and I am working now, so I think about getting one for my own collection.. But until now I still haven’t found one..
FYI, I live in Kulim and as I plan to purchase a nice baicaster like Shimano Calcutta, I thought maybe why not buy a special rod to match with it.. Is it alright to go for it?? I am afraid the maintainance for the rod will be troublesome, expecially when fishing in dirty water..
And I need to know is it good for casting.. Quite scare if the line get stuck inside the rod.. Haha.. Then after that its by bye to your poket la.. Hope sifus out there can advice to this newbie although my have been fishing since 1999… Haha..

before u i’m the one frequently ask for this rod… well in short, i doesnt buy it but u can gather all ur info here easily, but tat was 2-3 years ago… wonder where have all those tat provide info to me last time gone
anyway nice rod… but rare at the same time… have not seen them since a long long time… so long i forgot how many years already…

interline rods have been around for at least 2 decades or so…i’ve seen them as a kid in tackleshops… there are reasons why it never replaced the conventional rod designs i.e difficult maintenance, knot jamming at tip-tops, dirt entrapment etc. that being said, there are also some advantages to it. i know they cast braids very well, much better than mono, and the rod under load bends to the intended taper very well when fish is on.
popular interlines are surf rods, and boat rods. some swear by it, others shun away from it.
please read here for some good discussion on interlines, and make out whether it is fit for your usage or not.

Good Morning guys!!! Wow!!! I never such an early morning I can see a lot of good advice and comment from sifus… Haha.. Kinda touch.. [:D]
The reason I wanna own is because I just see the different betweeen the conventional and interline concept.. Yes I know it is very troublesome when you fish using this kind of rod, but its just that I wanna put it in my shelf so the next time when I will be going to a crystal clear water, I can use this rod to fish..
And in some way, I found it high tech.. Haha.. If match with conquest, I bet all the angler’s will be aiming for it.. You know la, combine the set can cost you a brand new EX5 motorcycle.. Haha..
