any info on this reel… cannot find anymore and never seen them for so long. And since everyone snap them up so fast n no longer can be found, sure some of the kaki here do own it, i edi know bro ft got one so might to share ur thought on this particular reel

Old reel. Now taken over by the Luna I think. I have the CV-X 253, quite cheep in the past, cost about 1/2 the price of a CV-Z. Its sweet, easy to cast. Magforce - V, can only be adjusted by taking down the side place. Not so good for making adjustments while fishing.
I’ve fished the reel in salt water, and today, its still like new. There’s a review of the reel at tackletour.com.
The reel is solid. All alumium frame and side plates.
The spool, Magforce - V type.
Take down the palming side plate by unscrewing the side plate to access the magforce adjustment.
Here, the magforce setting is set to ‘2’. It is set by twisting the magnet holder.

Actually i love tat reel very much, one of my fav… or else wont spend so much to clean n upgrade the reel nicely and change to carbontex drag, super strong now. However both my workhorse rods fantasista n hornet stinger also broken edi so i left without much choice, and so if the price is right i’m willing to let it go, albeit with a heavy heart lo
Yup, agreed. My fren even change its handle to power handle to do jigging and sea fishing… show how powerful and reliable tat reel is!!! gonna miss it very much, sob
