DIY - quick release camera strap

Case study no 1:

D90 body made from plastic

300mm f/4 made from metal, thus very heavy.

Carrying a D90 + 300mm with ordinary manner using normal camera strap attached to body = broken lens mounts? aiyaaaarkkk (keownnnnn)…

Case study no 2:

Ordinary camera strap attached ‘permanently’ to camera. Convinient to carry camera around.

When it comes to tripod, dangling camera straps may vibrates the camera upon refreshing breeze. Thus blurry photo… for best result, remove camera strap to ensure 100% tacky sharp photos.

Aiyaaa… very leceh wan mau bukak pasang the camera strap, banyak lambat worrr…

solution?

that one kena beli, this one FOC… ahahahah

you see doc, the remaining strap from Lowepro is still remains on the camnera’s eyelet although the strap is detachable. I dun like it since the little strap will dangling on the camera and hinder the ‘feel’ of camera grip which I dun like…

pomen’s idea, like car like camera, very creative [:D]
