Not a new hi-tech lure/lure accessories.Got this idea when i saw a reproduction of this head by Aaron Marten.Got no choice other than this since i use to fish in the kelp and sea weed infested water;so i need the off-set worm hook feature to avoid it getting hung up and snag to the kelp when fishing through the kelp bed.Other than that, its hard to get a jighead with an off-set hook with an ideal/desirable weight(most of the time will be more than 1/4 oz or 7g) for my kind of fishing during that time.

The bib will make any stickbait softies ie. slug-go swim in a “gedik mode” wiggle right and left, and slightly roll from side to side.the speed of retrieve will depend on the size of the bib.The bigger the size of the bib, mean that it can be retrieve so slow and still will produce action.
Other than Aaron Marten berkley also have a range using the same principle.
Never got time yet to try it with our local species, but from my past experience, even the cold water species are willing to bite.

Stuff that u need.

I use any hook with barbed shank, usually for bait fishing.

U need to drill one side of the pea sinker to accommodate the off-set worm hook eye.Make sure the hole run pass through the existing sinker hole.

This is how i fit all the stuff together.Make sure that the towing eye always on the top of the pea sinker.

I used a clear devcon to secure the whole things up.I just apply a few drip of devcon in the hole and heat it up with a lighter just to make it flow to fill in any space in the sinker.I dunno whether u can use a devcon filler epoxy(grey colour when mixed)which i think gonna create a stronger bond and much harder when set up compare to the clear one.
The bib i make from acrylic? a clear plastic from a model shop.cut in oval.cut a hole in the middle of it to fit in the pea sinker.I tend to cut the hole slightly smaller than the sinker size.then i will sandwich the bib between 2 spoon.I use lighter to heat up the “sandwich” to make the bib concave.Sometimes i will make grove on the sinker for the bib.The bib is secure to the head using epoxy.

mr rapalajoe,brilliant!
gotta try.
