I believe that most of us always wonder what has become of a once popular group of anglers (LKG) This nagging question has always been at the back of our mind but we adopt an attitude of ‘let sleeping dogs lies’..There was a time where our whisper is heard as a mighty roar in the fishing fraternity.We have strangers wanting to join our group.We lead the way and I am proud to say that we have a hand in making tarpon / ladyfish fishing a craze in Malaysia.I am sad to state that the glory day are over..The usual problem with group is ‘Fractionalization’.Most of us seek our comfort zone (Groupies) and these weaken the bond and slowly we WILL FADE INTO OBSCURITY and when we ever meet we will be talking bout those glory days!A very good example is the Godfather series, this was created to establish a BROTHERHOOD among ANGLERS and NOT really a competition, I know that most of us are busy,who is not,this is not a last minute DO… we gave a few months for LKGers to support this cause but SIGH. I see no effort at all Only trash talk…There are LKGers whose do not log in at all and who I have not met. The question I want to ask seriously.. Is LGK RELEVANT??? FOR me I am glad that there is LKG for its here that I met friends a occasionally arsehole(Pokeback gang and a near extinct RODENT) .Are we nearing the end of our existence?

I guess it is always the case when we grow bigger but we still do have a core group that is keeping this LKG (thread)and activities alive. I think let those who does not want and not intertested to be part of LKG make their own way, those who think we are still relevant let’s continue to do so.

I was not part of LKG since the beginning of time, only very recent.
But I think you spoke the truth on all counts, not limited to the Pokeback / Panda part.
