Fat Rap............

Hi Guys,

We are in the final stages of our discussion with our head office. I am going to Penang next week for a meeting with our Finnish boss and should finalise if we are able to bring back the Fat Rap. It is looking very good, we should be able to confirm by early May. Watch out for this thread [:D]and I am praying that it will go through.

hehehehehe, actually I also heard these rumors spreading around Alor Star tackle shop last week…They said not all the colours are going around…What colour do u think will be around …Feel a little bit greedy when heard of this news…Afraid of those sailang kaki’s…[:D][:D]

Hi jat,

rumours does have its origin [:D] I suspect you were at Teik Huat? I was there few weeks ago during my visits and shared with the owner of bring the Fat Rap back.

Just want to share to everyone here what is taking so long for the project to come true. Factory has their schedule for production and their annual summer holidays (where is ours [:(]), each year Rapala will have some new lures out by Q3, the Fat Rap has been stopped for 5 years. They have to come out with a schedule to fit our request and also how many they can produce with their tight schedule.

As for the colours, as far I will want to satisfy everyone but from the feedback that everyone gave, I submit to the factory to let them to come back to us. There will be at least 6 classic colours and i also proposed to them to have 1 very special colour which never been done before. I shall keep it quiet first till the whole project is approved! Once back from the meeting, will annonce in our Rapala section.

jat, the RNR will be the next project. I know chrome blue and chrome black, is there a chrome red?? Can show it to me? [:D]

Yeah Teik Huat of course…I have been talking to him last week…Bro Fred, I mean the Rattlin FAT RAP not the RNR…My luck with RNR are not good as using FR…[:o)]

I’m sorry for the Chrome Red…What I mean was chrome with Red Belly…And I do mean rattles…[:D][:D]

Got to find a way to find some budget to sailang a little bit for my own collection…[:D]

Nearly lost the chrome blue rattlin when the “Kerapu” took it into his castle…never use it again…[:D][:D]

Jat this Chrome thing you are talking about is CH (Chrome Head) if I`m not mistaken.
One of the best colour. Hard to find & expensive too.Normally in Ebay it will cost you RM100 over for 7cm model.

Jat kedai panjang tuh kat mana?
Pekan Cina ka?

2 minggu lagi Chek nak turun Aloq Staq ada kenduri.
Kalu ada masa bleh la chek nak pi jejalan melawat kawasan.

sorry jat, I read wrongly ha… Chrome with red belly is really rare. FR is still the most wanted as balsa wood lures have “better action” but of cos lack of rattling sound. At this moment, we will bring back the FR first.

As for the colours, Chrome blue is considered a classic colour ha… so chances of getting it for FR is very high. [;)]hint hint..

Bro Gekko, hmm… you will know soon what is the special colour [:D]just a few more days.. tahan abit ha..

ha..when the whole project is confirmed, then I will annouce, if not approved, now I tell, the disappointment will be greater!!

However, my confidence level is high, as I have strong backing from you guys to bring back the FR. I already show our Finnish boss the discussion in this forum. I am back to office on Wednesday, so should have an answer by then or by Thursday.
