Fellas out there…has anyone used or can comment on the above stated reel? I was FORCED to take a Fin Nor Ahab 20 megadrag reel by my bo$$ whose new hobby is bidding reels in ebay[xx(]</font id=“purple”>

I can, but they are a different series and I am not sure whether it will mean anything.

2 Fin Nor Estima’s - whacked at least 50 pond siakaps / MJ’s / Angchohs / Taiwan Senangins each over the last 6 years. The only significant wear has been the folding handle. One got loose, and I epoxied it permanently so no more wobble ! Everything else AOK - still using both right now. Made in Bangla Desh - or so the box says.

1 Fin Nor Ahab 8 - not used - built like a tank - and weighs like a bloody tank as well. Waiting for one day when I can hit a Pla Buk over the head with it.
Was looking for a Christmas present - the other is the Megalite series - but have also not been able to get my itchy fingers on them.[:p]
Tats wat i heard too. Weight like a tank. Internet said the stupid reel weigh 600+gm[xx(].
Fin Nor dont seem to be popular in M’sia. Wonder why…perhaps cos the sheer weight? or price?

Humble apologies … the days when I could happily find regular use for such a strong and powerful reel are a bit gone I am afraid.
Nowadays the main use will be to stop my teenage daughters from going out of the house whenever I am not looking lah. [xx(]

Was is Sabretackle Singapore last week and noticed that they had a good offer for the Fin Nor Estimas.
They can also arrange for sending them to KL for anybody interested.

A lot less than what I paid years ago ! [xx(] Forget about spare parts though - they are more than 5 / 6 year old models, but I bought a few as spare parts for the future.
