Fishing in China

Returned to Monster Island in China for some awesome fishing. Yellowcheek to 130lbs on the rod was high on the agenda, but only fish from 17~20lbs were caught this time.
The Chinese Seabass here grow big too. An 18 pounder was caught by my friend on lure, so was a 17 pound Skygazer.

quick photo session and the fish are released

Chris Bamford from Ohio is a big man at 6’6", all fish look small next to him!! He caught this YC on a yellow two-lipped gurgler that goes ploop, ploop, ploop…

It says " mingzhuhu " meaning " Bright Pearl Lake ". It is on the Chongming Island, at the mouth of the Yangtze River, North of Shanghai.

Yong, I hear the recently de-militarized zone of Heixiazi Dao (Bear Island)on the Chinese side of Amur River bordering Russia has runs of wild salmon. Maybe you’d like to do some exploration? [:D]
