To all Fly Fishers please join in our Flyfishing Fair on June 14 sunday at 8.30 am. There will be 8 conclave events where you can take part and gain as many points as possible,total points you collect from the events can be exchanged for prizes.And who knows what you might win.Lunch will be provided and after lunch you can Fly fish at the venue.A jumble sale is also being arranged thru TackleBox,so if you have any Fly fishing items for sale please bring them to TackleBox for Tagging. Listed below are some finalized details of the Fly Fishing Conclave to be held at Empangan Air Kuning on the 14th of June 2009.

The Details below covers the general aspect in terms of registration etc.

Fly Fishing Conclave (Fly Casting Fair)
Date: 14th June 2009
Venue: Empangan Air Kuning, Shah Alam

7.30am to 8.30am: Arrival or Participants / Guest & Registration
8.30am: Welcoming Speach and Event briefing
9.00am: Start of Event
1.00pm: Lunch
1.30pm: Prize Giving

Registration Details:

  1. All Participants will be charged a fee of RM 30.00 which includes lunch
  2. Friends and Family members who wish to attend (Non particpants) will be charged RM 13.00 per person which covers Entry and Lunch
  3. Children below the Age of 7 years old will be admitted Free of Charge
  4. All Participants and Guests are required to Register yourselves at the Registration Counter on the day of the event.
  5. Payment for registration can be made at Tackle Box up till 6pm - (Thursday),11th June 2009 or made directly at the Registration counter at Empangan Air Kuning on the 14th of June.
  6. The number of participants will be limited to 64 persons only and it will be on a first come first serve basis.
  7. Upon Registration and payment, Participants will be issued with an Identification Tag. Registered Friends & Family members will be given a Sticker to identify them as registered Guest
  8. One other thing, If possible please try to have exact change for payment during registration

As announced the Fly Fishing conclave took place this morning.

On behalf of Tackle Box and Psage Merdana, I wish thank all the participants who took part and for their overwhelming support in this event.

We also take this oppurtunity to thank all the Marshals for a great job done. A special Thanks to the management & Staff of Empangan Air Kuning for their kind hospitality, to Nazrin for the Great Food. To Dronfly for his Fly tying demonstration. It was truly one of the more popular stations. Many of us I believe saw a totally new dimension to Fly tying and the fact that there is really no limit as to what flies one can create except to the limits we set in our minds. To all the Field Marshals for their great support and patience, braving the heat, minding their respective stations. To our Chief Marshal (Dr. Ling) the mastermind behind the events and to all those who helped in making this event a success.
