wondering anywhere near melacca town or alor gajah area hav place for flying???

My hometown is in Tampin - very close to Alor Gajah & quite to Melaka town.

actually u can fly fishing at A Formosa resort… but i dunno the fish count there. long ago i went there saw many peacock bass
another place u can fish for free is the ayer keroh lake gardens… but to hook a fish there very challenging…
casting will be chaqllenging for beginners in general too becos got many trees

ya..that paypond is a saltwater pond…jz opposite the previous Senyum Super Hypermarket (now closed d)…if u come from mahkota parade, go straight jalan melaka raya until a traffic light junction, when u see the senyum super on your left, then u take the right junction, which is toward the pulau melaka..the paypond is just at the junction only…The entrance of that pond is a prawn pond…
There are mainly siakap and kerapu in the pond, but not very big one la…that pond last time i went cannot play lure casting…so dunno can fly or not…also, the wind is also quite strong at that place cos it is beside the sea…so if can fly better bring wt7 set.

about going to tampin…emm…u juz follow the signboard “Alor Gajah”…then when reach about alor gajah, u will start to see Tampin signboard…then jz follow the signboard and u can easily reach Tampin…the pond bro riki caught belida by fly is at the roadside of the jalan seremban…

Oh ya… I got the Belida at the Taman Tasik Tampin - beside the main road to Seremban. If u’re lucky, you can get also Pacu there - or Keli Afrika… [:D]
But that was 2-3 months ago, when they just restocked the place for a competition. So, being a public place, plus lotsa meathunters in Tampin, I don’t think the fish cant last that long. But you can always try… [;)] [:)]

tou fu pond!! i think that was just lucky..after i got that ,the next day i went again.. two of us went and the whole day not even a bite… but 5 kg pacu on fly is damn nice to play with… can try
melacca.. i’ll be there tomorrow and coming back on friday thursday i’ll be free,is also my fishing day.[:D]

i tot u r going on weekend..cos if weekend then i can go back and maybe we can meet ..
actually i saw one place quite nice to fish but dunno suitable to fly or not???The place is near to the pasar borong at batu berendam…can’t believe melaka people used small lure to cacth a really big mama toman..

Last time I used a Gecko Fly tied by the great tie-master, Mr Dron Fly.
You can try BreadFly (if u rasuah with roti) if u’re planning to get the Pacus or Kelis… [;)]
