Was fishing from the side of the restaurant at FV when I saw a commotion at the ‘TJS Sprint’, Someone had hooked a fish and the rod was in serious bend.
Told my wife and kid to go look-see look-see.
After 5-minutes and they were still there engrossed in watching the angler fight the fish. I also ‘beh tahan’ and kay-po over to have a look.
Wah, it was TJS having an energy sapping, adrenalin pumping, heart stopping fight on his hand.</font id=“size3”></font id=“brown”>
Everytime the fish came near, it would make a run.
“Lure or bait?”
“Lure”
“Must be a big pacu”
“Ya, ya..I think so”
As it was slowly raised from the depths, we saw the flash of its tail.
“Holly cow..patin/plabuk!!”
“Wah… must be foul-hooked”
“Ya..ya.. must be. That’s why fighting like crazy”
Finally, after 20 minutes of hard-fought battle, the fish was in the net.

anyway yea the mouth part is slightly deformed but definitely due to birth or injury sustained when young, however it dun matter the fish is still healthy and definitely a strong fighter… my personnal best fish to date too, definitely the best, on lure, light tackle, light line and most of all what a leviathon…
well no worries bro startrek, later i’ll post up more pic, stories on frame by frame… hopefully u guys wont get bored tat;s it hahaha… it’s still unbelievable and felt so surreal to actually succeed in landing one… stay tuned guys… let me go casting a while first hehhehe, nice weather la outside

U r right Bradpek, nothing less than $2k excluding the normal fishing expenses.The first set of baitcaster already Rm1,800. But I think TJS can let go steam now…Woohoo!!
