No April fool joke here. Some are the recent colours and some are the first limited edition Tail Dancers colours. You will be surprise by the range of colours. Watch out for those TD07 and TD09 colours too. Some are the original limited edition colours and been out of market for a while.
I am able to get my hands on them bcos the factory did a re run for other parts of the world. Now Malaysia is having more and more of Rapala lures that other part of the world is jealous of, wa..ha..

Not sure about the boxes but i guess unlikely it will be the original boxes as I have not seen the physical lures yet. I know there are some first batch colours like RC,HC,ESH etc. I am sure you will be thrilled when you find them.[:D]

Shallow tail dancer?
See the thing i love most bout tail dancer is, the diving depth is overall not too deep nor too shallow… even if it’s bib suggest otherwise… imho i found tat it swimmin depth is between a shallow shad rap and deep shad rap, therefore a great compromise! And not to soft nor hard on it’s digging, therefore i can afford to use ultralight tackle to do the cranking job… Tat’s y rapala TD has always been my fav and top crank to date, appreciate all its quality, action, rattler, material(balsa), not too subtle n not to tough value, reliable etc!

i saw somebody upload the shallow tail dancer in this forum, i forgot which one thread, he told that the shallow tail dancer is japan market only. is that true?
i like tail dancer too but it preety hard to cast use bc, easy to backlash

Yup agree quite hard to cast on bc, especially with strong wind… just use spinning lor… however find tat they couldnt cast as far as most cranks anyway… but the action made up to tat, it’s the only downside i guess
