Hi uncle.. i’m in love in rod building, i’ve a few rods, mostly i learned from internet & by asking people… i got the drying machine (DIY) and etc… only the rod building machine (soon hopefully)… my issue is right now is the epoxy finishing is not smooth/fine… can u give me some tips uncle… i’ve tried the heating method… but still i not perfect… i’m based in PJ, Selangor… so in dont know yet when can i drop by ur shop… TQ

Yea.. be super patience when building a rod. I just build my 1st rod, aint that nice… but like Uncle Thomas said, practice makes perfect, just keep trying lo… 
My next rod shall be a light jigging rod (PE1-3)

Still hesitating tu put the epoxy… afraid it would ruin my work and had to do it all over again… huhuhuh… i think my prob is the type of epoxy as uncle says… i use the 1 layer finishing… not the 2 layer thin finishing… type…
thanks sham.. follow uncle instruction man everything would be fine.. nice thread wrap( jealous woo) better done it in a clean environment. you doesn’t want dust spin threw your epoxy. I am also thinking to build one more for ponds.. is there any blank much cheaper than xzoga?
