Poland also hardcore JM fan I think…
saw at his house he has from the lightest 100 to the 500 series…all he have. somemore build and rebuild them once he’s sick of the previous binds… haha…

actually if you need really stiff rods…there are some really super stiff ones out there… but think with locked drag, the angler would go back with a bruised back at the end of the day…hehehe…

Yup, but most of his JM are 2004 batch, yes u r right he keep changing JM dressing once he sick of certain colour or someone having the same colour, that’s why ah Ti keep complain him so fussy…hiam-sa-hiam-si…

Come on PE#8 more than enough 4me, if cannot land the mama what to do, i’m not so hardcore like you guys…hehe

I came across this page yesterday, the rod is PE#8, i test b4 at Taiwan, value 4 money but prefer 79 series, better grab Fisherman . No need lah still got one Carpenter , Tifa, Smith, Valley hill, Ripplefisher and Zenith in hand, wait till i sell off some of my arsenal first, too many rods but no reel also no point and my kakis do carry other range rod can exchange to use. Actually i’m targeting “Coo” , “CB-one” and “UFM”…yak…yak…yak…

Can consider trying out these “no matter line break or not, back sure break” rods: [:D][:D][:D]

Play Locked Drag must + a Super Stiff Pole = still no guarantee fish surely land h/w one thing guaranteed for sure is a badly bruised back! Like that then got the reason and not excuse to go for a good rub after fishing…Hehehe…

Can’t afford sevenseas lah, my Fisherman monster PE#9 and Tifa swell Island PE#10 on the way, once goods receive will sell off my Valley hill Kamaja, Carpenter BC611XHS-SHP, Zenith Zero Shiki and Smith, will keep the Ripplefisher 5210.</font id=“blue”>

It’s PE#10, excellent 4 GT and up to 500g jig, i tried OH56 with 400g jig last trip, the action similar to my Kamaja PE#8, can’t really “kiaw” mama GT.

I used to have OH56 too… feels its a little over rated. Good for jigs up to 450-500g max…but stated there 700g. Hehe…
Find it a little too soft for my liking..thats why sold it after one trip. [:D]
Now headache…dunno what to get…either the OH55, which I had seen but not tried before… or the BB55 (something I hadn’t seen or tried before) [B)]
Thats the rod they used to troll for marlin on stella20000…think should be able to used for jigging as well. [:D]

or you got any recommendations? Hehee…

bro odyssey, y don’t u try a one day charter off sydney jigging targeting kingfish.. very hard work, i know of a few anglers that have given up after 10 mins of jigging, but well worth the effort.

Hi mlye, this trip we all playing full drag, rod don't bring something below PE#8, braided PE#10-15, hook as big as possible eg.Decoy 10/0 minimum, leader 150-200lbs.

This trip was a 4d3n exploration trip,we charter a 100’x20ft commercial boat tow along a 32ft outboat pair with twin 200HP Johnson engine, commercial boat cost us RM16k , outboat belong to my buddy so FOC.
