@ Hanoi Vietnam

My next sojourn was to Uncle Ho’s country. … Vietnam.
Was there for work but managed to get in some sights sounds and taste.

Hanoi Scutter gurl… and boy was she fast on those wheels. Love the helmet.

Uncle Ho still very much watching over its denizens

Restaurant Delicious. A must go and try. No fried Fido’s here though.

Really delicious crab soup with noodles. spicy too.

Look closely … looks familiar though without its usual feathers and chirping .. sparrows

It actually taste quite good. Deep fried with a tinge of sweet marinade. Stuff it in your mouth and pull out the tiny bones later… incl the head.

This one also delicious…The MC at the function I attended. yummy yummy … double yummy ..

Another place to go is Cafe Lam…Great local cafe, sit on low stools and admire the paintings of famous viet artist going back to even 1947. Paintings are all donated.

another 3 hours journey and you will be at Halong Bay.

Floating fish farms. Actually holding pens to sell fishes to tourist at exorbitant rates for their lunch.

Quoted USD 20 per kg… whereas Grouper was at USD 17 per kg.!!

Are you sure you only loves those helmet~???..hahahahaa…[:D]

Any good fishing there?

Fishing??? I wonder if got time to do so. [:)]

Nevertheless, looks like a nice place to go to one of these days

No eye deer on the fishing as really did not explore any fishing sites nor did I query my hosts as they were non anglers.

Nice place to visit but you will be hard pressed to find halal food here. The hotel I stayed Daewoo Hotel was pricey at USD 120+ even after discount for corporates. Definitely more interesting than Dhaka or Phnom Pehn.

The food looks interesting!
