Hollow Splicing Needle

Anyone out there know where to get hollow splicing needles in KL ? I need it for splicing hollow braid to mono. Thanks :slight_smile: [:)]

I have seen it in Sabre Tackle on Jln Maharajalela and Sykt Kepong.
You mau want to check with them?

No need to use that kind of needle for the hollow braid, just take the #28 stainless steel solid wire, cut about 12 inches in length and fold it to a small smooth bent which can penetrate the hollow braid easily and pull through another braid, try it, is very easy.

Jon, are you splicing JB braid? In my experience, you are much better off just tying a friction knot to leader. If you get busted off on a fish it takes way too long to get back into action splicing leader/brad connections. Or are you making wind on leaders??

What pound leader are you splicing as I can get some needles for you if you can’t find them. You’d have to wait till May though.
