As my dear muhibbah brothers and sisters in arms in this wonderful pursuit of ours, your enthusiasm and zeal for MFN and the passion to come together as one, no matter where you are and who you are, to grow sportsfishing and nurture it for the next generation is much heralded and praised.
Therefore, it gives me pleasure to announce that U6 the theme - “One for All and All for One” will be on on 22nd and 23rd November 2008 at CWS. CWS is chosen due to its centralized location and also facilities, not to mention the support from its Management.
However, this time the challenge maybe more difficult. We are NOT going for culling anymore but each team must now present to the Marshall 4 fish to get your “license” on the scoreboard, then you can upgrade your next smallest fish with another bigger fish. Your team will always need to present to me four fish alive for maximum points based on weight. This is going to be quality fishing. And I expect the best from you guys.
Why weight? Cos you guys are the best anglers in Malaysia and Singapore so catching a million fish is not a problem. We are going for quality this year. US/Canada Pro-Bass format modified for U-series! Wait for our detailed announcement but this is the general idea.
Get ready for some serious fishing! We are all in this together! Are you guys with me? If you are, Captains from previous U, please report in.
