We landed four in the first half of the day, after that no take. we left early due to ugly looking rain cloud coming from the west, inspite of that we were caught in the rain before reaching the jetty.
At a distant, we could see other boats landing the sails too, looked like every one had a fair share of the fun.

I was at Rompin last week on thurs n friday..the sails were basically everywhere. The amount of birds n sails we saw was totally count by hundreds if not thousands. It was put anything in the water and the sails will whack situation. We were using kerisi, ms.wong and even the ‘lan chiau’ fish also whack. [:D][:D]
But you have to travel further.. we were fishing near the Berhala island. Was there for the friendly annual TDH fishing cup organize by a local pub [:)]

Thanks for the feed back Jerry, that will be nice for this week end Royal Pahang Billfish Competition, no worries about shortage of baits..ms wong and cockfish will be a new menu for the sails[:D][:D][:D]

Hopefully they will still be around during the royal pahang tournament.. Heard that they move around quite constantly following the ikan bilis. And they r very curious with poppers too..one team landed 2 on poppers. Guess is a new batch of sails that just arrived rompin water..

sounds good. I will only be bringing the certate 2500 and the 3500. Landed a 35kg on the 3500 before so hpefully will catch one on the 2500 after you repair it. hehehe. Don’t forget to bring the rods as I am not bringing any.
I am going to china after the fishing and my luggage is getting to heavy. Not even bringing my okuma vs55.
