My mates and myself just got back from an experiment jigging trip in Malacca. We used a tongkang without GPS or Sonar. We purely depended on the good old fisherman tekong’s experience. Weather was fine but the water was a little choppy. It was very tiring to jig in a tongkang. Very dangerous indeed. Only 1 fish was landed. A Senangin abt 1-2kg on jig. That was the first and last fish for that trip.
anyone went popping or jigging in malacca waters lately?
my frens went apollo jigging last weekend and landed a few talang. that was abt it. suppose to go out to sea this weekend but boatman say no fish and meteorology dept say storm in malacca “prepare for flood” lol
I went fishing last sunday and was fishing near Pulau Undan, I hooked up a 1.8kg Treadfin Salmon. Weather is bad and likely this will continue untill Chinese Tang Zhui.
