would like to know is it wise to use a 6’ or 6’6" jigging rod of PE 2 or 3 for haruan fishing
i normally fish land base and snaggy area
jigging rod is light (so i can cast more) and believe the rod is strong enough to pull or prevent fish from snag

I was thinkin of that also.. to get PE 1 for the snaggy area.
Can also toss very heavy lure. These current type rod r slim n light.

Try getting a Lemax Slim Max, tough rod 6’. (2pc.) and 6ft 2in (1 pc.). Get the 6’2" better action. I am using a 1 pc. 5’8" for casting with soft plastic for haruan and bujuk. Price around RM180 for the 6’2", I guess is a PE2 rod.
BTW are you using for bait caster or spinning?
Feeding fish if not get any on rod and line, let them grow bigger to fish another day.
