I guess you have fully “recovered” from the long CNY holidays.Here’s a good opportubity to shed a few pounds, and have fun and make new friends at our next River Clean Up.
This time, KAGUM is facilitating a Petronas group. Essentially, we’ll do the briefing at the start of the session, plus some guiding during the actual cleanup itself. The Petronas group welcomes anybody else who would like to join in.
Sir Phil has also indicated that the Pure Fishing gang may also join in, so it’s gonna be a jolly time.
OK, here’s the details:
Venue: Sg Tua, above Ulu Yam Dam (also called Batu Dam)
This place has become a sort of “adopted river for us”. The stream is long, has enough rubbish for us to collect, and is fairly safe for kids.
Date/Time: 14 Feb 2009 (note the year, hehe!)
Start: 9.00 am
Finish: 1.00pm
Suggested attire: Tshirt, shorts or light pants; shoes with non-slip soles. Rubber sneakers is good. Do bring extra clothing, in case you get wet.
So, do join us for this. It could be the biggest RCU ever!
