No change, no change confirm SP. Last trip spent too much time doing JKR work, making bridge and opening up path for everyone, so too tired to do much casting. Today glory to Bro Marlin’s SP talk, out beat the frog team 6:3. Frog team lost and request for rematch.

Thanks to yr SP given to me during yr talk, following exactly what you taught, weedless rigged, weightless, sinking and slow twitching retrieve, second haruan landed today with that SP.[:)][:)]
Maybe the frog team become the JKR , clearing shrub and trees will scare the haruan/bujuk away.. do you agrees with us Sifu maguro..

Continuous and excessive slashing and chopping at the fishing site, certainly will scare away the fish for a while.
The rematch will be a fair game than, no more slashing and chopping. Let us fix a day.
Sifu Maguro Do I sound like a sore loser, fishing is part of the exercise regime, chopping tree and shrub is more fun.. instant result …like a well kept jungle path.
Good work out benefit other and yourself. On the other had it must be a join afford, don’t you think so? Work to geather, fish together and lastly enjoy together is the idea.

for other fishing mates, give priority to others are very good noble practices. Ken we understand all your good deeds and you command our respect, for that you reserve a credit of 2 haruans, frog team near to win.
Leave win or lost aside, the game add allot more fun for otherwise a normal fishing trip.
It’s great and more fun to have you speaking in the kelantan slang and accent too and the enjoyable Nasi Goreng Kampung, Satay ayam and not to forget the Husband and Wife team spirit…their hardbody lure makings. ( I secretly wish my other half can team up to fight like them.) Nice to meet Torex and his vast fishing experience. BTW I am aiming for my own personal Bujuk record too.. couldn’t find my rambutan spot. Wait for the rematch.. Heng is joining our Karang Luas trip too.. He too like your esteemed companionship.. bubble popper for haruans.. it is 2.5" long, deep pupple
color… did it effective for haruans? and do anyone got
proper way to use it??

Poppers works well in open pond shallow or deep waters, without or less snaggy areas and surfaces less or free of weeds. Infact haruan will take poppers. The way of using a popper is “walking the dog” slow retieves with twitching the rod slightly. The popper will zig zag on the surface unlike straight retrieves.

so i juz make it slow and ‘play’ it.. but sometimes haruan seem like not strike if the lure move slow oh… why?

Popper definitely works on deep water too, haruan need to come up and breath. It is only your perception that haruan won’t strike if the lure is slow. I used soft plastics even slower than popper haruan strike and even working the SP on mid or bottom (until the base). Sometime no strike at all, it because the haruan are not around.
You use the poppers often and you shall see result. The haruan shall strike if they are around the place you fish. Haruan are prediators proctecting their territory, that makes the a territoral fish attacking lure out of aggression in it’s domain. Use it often and move around to other place if you feel that there no fish there.
