Kayak fishing is a new popular fishing trend in the US and Australia. I believe it will take off here sooner than later. I am thinking of setting up a network of kayak fishing stations in major fishing destinations throughout the country.
With the price of fuel going thru the roof, I think kayak fishing will appeal to many anglers. Remember, no fossil fuel smell and no noise, kayak fishing is not only eco-friendly but also stealthy (i.e. you don’t frighten the fish away). Also, no exorbitant charter boat fee.
My plan is to list all the kayak fishing stations on my website www.eco-sports.com.my and anyone who is interested to fish at his/her location of choice can contact the station directly.

Kayak Fishing, can it be apply in our country? I think for freshwater it maybe extremely GOOD but how bout for saltwater?. If the trawlers bot passed the Kayak if afraid that the Kayak will sink.

Duroboats are US-made. I would say quality comparable to Australian-made if not better. Uses marine-grade aluminium 0.5 to 0.72 in thickness. Definitely not flimsy. Duroboats comply with US Coast Guard flotation safety requirement. Meaning, it won’t sink if you hit a rock. The US Army uses them in Iraq to patrol the lakes and rivers. So, they are proven and tested in rough use. You have to view the boat to appreciate its toughness and beauty. They are not cheap. But, that’s the price you have to pay.
