Cool bro, can it seat two fishos? How much is the cost? Who is the distributor in KL?
The Freedom Hawk is a one-seater kayak. Although, it has a max capacity of 180kg, I wouldn’t recommend it for two. The reason is simple. It comes only with one seat. If you are out in the water long, you need a good comfortable seat. A very important consideration when kayaking.

no fun la go fishing alone. We need a fishing buddy in case the kayak capsize. I am sure they have the two seater version, it is common sense what.

Kayaks are like bicycles. You can get a tandem bicycle for two or you can get two single-seaters. When you are cycling “alone”, you don’t want to ride a tandem. The same goes for kayaks.
Don’t get me wrong. A single paddler can still handle a tandem kayak alone. It is probably less efficient.
Actually, two single kayaks are safer than one tandem kayak. If one capsize, the other one can rescue. Buddy system!

i prefer a 2 man kayak…the front fella paddle while i sit back & troll!
and also i wouldn’t ever share a kayak with a fly-fisher! i can already start to imagine the horror!

i’ve tried kayak fishing before, really nice. have yet to try the fly on a kayak, i think i might rock the kayak to much!

The Freedom Hawk comes with a casting brace for you to hold/brace when casting.
The outriggers are detachable for each transport.

The casting brace is the U-shape metal bar that can be raised when casting. The two long bars in the middle when joined become a push pole for shallow waters.

It is retailing at US1,695 in US. Here, I guess it would cost slightly more here (to cover the freight cost). But, if there are enough people interested, I can them in at a lower price.

Some of us now are talking about the freedom hawk 12 footer kayak… which we are planning to order it in in group…so we can get a better rate… anyone else interested…???
