Congrats Deferick and team
Great catch. All caught using Ikan Parang trolling? What do you do with Barracuda cos they are tasteless based on my experience.
thanks DocSyed, uncle thomas, and bro Snook Hunter!

Yes bro, all using trolling method with Ikan Parang. Not sure about the taste as it is still in the freeze…

Barracuda are not choosy, they whack anything that you troll behind the boat, why not use rapala mag 14 or 18, or the halco gt trembler.
Barracuda fillet is good for making fish n chip, cheers!

thanks uncle thomas for the tips! will try for coming trip. Is there any leader needed to use with rapala mag 14 or 18, or the halco gt trembler?

YES, you need about 1m of 50lb wire leader to prevent bite off.
Any color that is silver and shinning .
You can try skirt too on the middle rod [surface trolling]
with diving lures left and right, can use three rods at the same time.
Good luck on your next trip, cheers!

any 15 - 20lb spinning or bait caster will do, like your toman or siakap outfit also can.
