List Of Cartoppers & Inflatables Owners

I dont own any boat, but I think it is a good move if all owners of cartoppers and inflatables do give their particulars here so that we non boat owners can contact them should the need arise. Not to borrow, but to share our fishing spots that require a boat. May be other boat owners can also get to each other from the information submitted here so as to form of convoy of boats or flotilla for some fishing expeditions.
In times of need the cartopper owners can contact each other too to help in some tight situation that require a car with roof rack.
Cartopper owners, please think about it.

How on earth would you use three kayaks? Ride like zorro ka? [:D] Details on your cartopper please… aluminium or fiber?

I have an generic brand inflatable, 3.3m long (11’), high pressure floor, V-hull inflatable keel. Takes outboard up to 15hp, currently ordering 6hp OB but has not arrived yet.

I have a two seater kayak, a two seater canoe and a coleman crawdad punt. Have a 2hp ob currently waiting for minor repairs. But my mobile is 16 years old and not good for long distance. Prefer fresh water fishing.

Well we rent them out, hahahaha
My punt is aluminum 12 footer with a 15hp engine, the next one might be a 16 footer with a 20hp engine.. undecided as what to use on it yet.

I don’t like fiber boats as they tend to be heavier and I am not keen on the durability issues.

Both will be flat hulls, was looking a V hulls but I kinda like the flats.

But the maiden fresh water boat is still in the works… once I finalize the deal I will post up the pic. hehehehehehe

Orait.

Boating section is so quiet lah… always hear “keridik” sound only.

I know brother Wahoo has a 12’ Express (aluminium) V-hull. And Rizalpin one fiber boat of unknown length. Tenggiri has a lot of these fun stuff including inflatables. Tembaring, one cool Sea Eagle inflatable kayak. Davesteez and Geno was looking for an inflatable but not sure their status.

I have one 19 ft fibreglass boat c/w trailer & 15 hp outboard. Maybe we could organize some fishing trips for those interested.

Landak, that’s a very nice idea. I think if more members are interested, it might happen! Though, if we are to bring our tiny boats, can only go to freshwater la… unlike your giant 19’ heheh. Still can’t believe you can tow a boat that long.

I have 14’ long and 6’ wide aluminium, powered by a 25hp 4-stroke Yamaha, I use it for calm sea water fishing. I use the boat a least once a week. Because the boat is so wide, three person standing on one side is still ok, quite often i have 4 person stemboat in my boat.

Yes, I in OZ. I do use poly-trailer, high grade plastic. i had to do a lot of practice to drive the trailer,especially lanching and reversing. you can see my set up here http://www.fishing.net.my/FORUM/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=15916&whichpage=3

Fren wants RM6,000 for his USA made aluminium LOWE SEANYMPH plus a used Johnson 15 hp fitted stainless steel propeller (worth more than RM1,000. No bargaining.

how much is the smallest fiber car topper? I’m looking for it one. I wanna use it just for the river fishing that doesn’t need me to go far from the riverbank. I had try to look for the 2nd hand at my place but failed to find one. so i might consider to get the new one. any advice on it from those of you with lots of experiences with it?
