Many would have fished and lived in a house boat for a few days while having a holiday in Kenyir.
But did anyone try living in a small boat, say the 12 ft cartopper, whether alone or in company of others in different boats, in a place similar to the Kenyir for a few days? I mean fishing, eating, resting and sleeping in the boat without getting to the bank to camp. Just you and your companion the boat, among others of similar interest?
I had an experience of an over night on a 12 footer with three persons and I can tell when morning came it was happines and misery. Happiness because the odeal ended, misery because I had pain in all odd places. Sorry never again.

I had a nap in my Quintrex 315 Explorer for an afternoon after a very tired day of fishing in Perak River. The gentle breeze rocked the boat and blew away the heat of afternoon sun. It was such a good rest that I woke up feeling so refreshed as if I was in control of the world.
The experience prompted me to think of the possibility of living in a small boat either alone or with someone under canopy. Sleeping space, pillow and blanket should be provided in the boat with proper shelter.
I feel that it is too cramped for 3 to either fish or sleep on a cartopper. I would not do it even for fishing. But for safety reasons, it is best to have at least another boat in company.
Yes, bro, I can fully understand your joy in your nap. I had some of the best nap when fishing and it was always because of the weather and the breeze. I remember one recent one in Fish Valley , the weather was just the right cloudiness and gentle breeze on constant flow, the nap that I had that felt like I slept for three nights when I woke up…so refresh.
My boat experience wasn’t so good, we was stuck in the middle of the night in Kenyir Dam and ran out of fuel so the three boats we had we slept through the night before anything can be achieved. Sleeping in cold night on a boat is way way big difference as with the gentle breeze and taking a nap.

May be for some reasons holiday makers swear by checking in to Avillion to sleep above the water (the sea). They say to aleep above the water would give thereupatic effects to their body and soul. They give some explanations about the effects of waves and moving water and their ions (???)giving back health to our body which I cannot comprehend.
Now we have it. An afternoon nap above water is equivalent to 3 nights sleep. An afternoon nap above water make you feel like in charge of the world.
