local knowlege

Gday everyone,
I am a mad keen flyfisherman from Australia living in Gopeng, Perak. I am working as a raft guide so have access to a lot of water.i have all my fly gear here but lack local knowlege. can anyone help me about fish species, feeding patterns, what fly patterns, where i can get them etc. or if anyone wants to go fishing let me know.

nice to know u, by the way, u said u are working as a raft guide. do you mind telling me which river in Perak? i’m also From Perak, Taiping area. i’m not an expert, still new to fly fishing but maybe we can do some fishing together.

hi mate, i guide on the sungai kampar. i would love to go fishing. august is bloody busy for me but stay in touch and we can try to have an evening session.

I just want to know what flies to use, i have plenty of water to explore here. their does not seem to be much surface feeding going on?
