Just hosted some overseas guests who bought a Radio Controlled mini helicopter for RM200+ in a toy shop. After watching him fly it in the hotel coffee house - just wondering - why then does the boat cost so much ?
Maybe it is because of the radio - the boat would need a much more powerful radio set because it would require a range of at least 300 feet as compared to the mini helicopter which you fly practically in front of you.
Do they sell the boat alone without the radio ? I fly R/C planes, and can adapt the radios that I already have.

There are 2 types of boats here. The one in http://www.rcfishingworld.com/ costs around US$60 + US$13(shipping)=US$73 which is about RM200. Around the helicopter cost. It has a shorter RC range of 400 feet like the heli.
The one RK posted costs around US$149 + US$80 (shipping)=US$229 which is around RM700. It has a RC range of 300m. So it could be the radio that adds to the cost.
When venturing to the wild pond, then the boat will be very helpful I guess [:D]
