Making of 6' 2/3 wt 4pc graphite fly rod.

Last week I received this 2wt 4pc blank and also the guides from Arthur. He sent it all the way from Wisconsin and he gave it to me as a gift..
I got to know him when I purchased a few bamboo rods from him a year ago..

The blank… 4pc 6’ 2/3wt

Spine or backbone marking..

Setting out guides location

Some basic ground work on the guide footing.. before and after..

Fixing up the guides before wrapping

I used Gudebrod silk Med. Brown for the wraps..

Sunset yellow for tipping

… pending epoxy finish…

Completed with epoxy finish and test…!! [:D]
