As you are aware, MFN is also an authorized Garmin dealer now from Aeco Technologies. Aeco is the OFFICIAL and sole distributor in Malaysia. It is run by our forumer Rorytate now as the GM there. They don’t pay for their Garmin room in our forum and in exchange of it, we get dealer’s price for products.
Recently, the Montana came to my attention because after Orangminyak got the pioneering model in Malaysia, a superbiker convoy also got one from me last week for their KL - Thailand - Burma trip. I got to learn more that this model even has a mount for bikes that has a wire jack for them to connect to their expensive helmets for voice direction.
The Montana 600 is a very interesting model which I wish to offer to a few forumers. This is because it is a truly all in one GPS. It has outdoor map, Bluechart for sea and local maps for driving. The standard box does not come with a mount. But if you install a car mount and clip on, it turns into a turn-by-turn GPS. Then if you are on a boat, it goes into Bluechart mode and when off-trail, it goes into Garmin map. Best part is that it is weatherproof (hence the biker got it to mount on his dash).
As for the battery, if you run out of juice, you can remove the standard battery and insert 4 x AA inside! Convenient in the jungles or sea.

The model goes from RM1900 to RM2,500 in shops . The cheaper ones are parallel import which Aeco don’t provide support.
For us, we are pricing it at RM1850. If you want to add the Bluechart in a 2GB SD card, you can add another RM150. So the total is RM2,000.
The car mount is optional at RM230.00.
If LKG is interested I can organized a shipment directly to one person to save on cost. Currently, courier is RM20 per unit. It will be shipped DIRECTLY from Aeco’s Garmin warehouse in Cheras.
