I just bought another Shimano Braidrunner 6500 to be add to my collections for use in BSR. Thought of wetting my new PE line as well as to test out my new heavy tackle rod.
Landed 6 mekong catfish within the next 3 hrs, given the facts this is afterall a local mekong ponds and not BSR. Fight the first mekong myself while give the other 5 mekong to a local thai angler to fight on my behalf.
Somewhere near Samutpakarn area.

Only patin and mekong, nothing else.
Bite rate is not as super as BSR but we can easily landed 10 mekongs in 1 day.
Only 100 bahts/ rod local rate with good bite rate, where to find in bkk ??? [:D]
Night fishing daily rate- 60 bahts/rod. (5.00pm onwards -10.00pm)
Baits must buy from in house. (reasonable price)
No in house guide available, fish yourself.
But if I happen to be around( no fishing that day), I only charge 1000 bahts for a day fishing (limited to 2 rods ) if you come to the fishing pond yourself by taxi.
Hire me ONLY if you cannot fish the mekong yourself.[;)]
