I think its called Kamloon …drive along the old road from sg petani to butterworth…after the merdeka bridge… Look out for the rice mill on your left…after the rice mill i think there is a road sign which says Kamloon …some locals seen buaya there…[xx(][xx(][xx(]
I think you are refering to the 3 connected lakes with wooden walkways over the water.
I have fished the waters, twice. Used to be known for toman, but when I was there, couldn;t catch a single one. Locals also say there’s crocs in there.
We took the ultimate risk: paddled a canoe into the place…at night! We were trying to catch this rare ikan tuna (shorfin eel), without success.
How we got in: on the old SP-Bworth road, cross underneath the PLUS hiway (there’s a lady selling cendol underneath that flyover. Wallop!), then turn left into the paddyfield area. Eventually, the tiny road will lead you to the rear portion of the lakes. If you bring boat, you gotta portage the thing along the bunds to the water.
Now I think is under state govt management..last time I was on the North-South Highway, saw a guard house and gate at the main entrance with wooden walkways over the lakes and lots of signboards…no easy to read them fine prints at 110km/h [xx(]
