Caught this 8.9kg stingray last night around 9.30pm. It took my fresh night herring bait on a long snood bottom feeder rig. It started to peel off my line for quite a distance and initially I got problem of getting it up from the bottom as it used it wide body size to hold on with the help of the strong current. Only after awhile that it lost grip and I manage to gain back line. Even when it was about to surface, it make one last deep dive downward but I had prepare for it as I press on my spool to slow down it movement. shoreangler, do u use the night tamban whole?
