I did a 3 days of wild fishing in nearby water dam near bkk city. Since I’ve some time on my hand before a hectic fishing trips lining up this weekend, decided to have a personal break not away from fishing but to do my own personal fishing. haha !!! Crazy me !!
DAY 1</font id=“size5”></font id=“blue”> Some thai anglers claim that there are giant thai masheer 5-10KG residing in the upper stream of the dam. So here I come.
The journey upstream will take us almost 2hrs, dangerous for non swimmer and very rocky. We will be camping overnight in the forest so a few foods rations and drinks needed to prepare for the trip.
Doing some last minute shopping before the trip.
Leaving bkk at 12.00am, the journey to the dam will take 3hrs.
All items checked and ready for this adventure trip.

The journey upstream…</font id=“size4”></font id=“blue”> There a rush of the red tide (forest water rushing downwards), making fishing rather unpleasant. I did not manage to land any thai masheer on my DAY 1. I was been told by the boatman that Dec will be a good period for thai masheer fishing though. Nevertheless , I myself enjoyed every part of the journey of this fishing adventure.
Metal spoon!! Skitter pop, Frog lures etc, you name it & I have it.
Danger moment !!! Strong rushing water pushing our boat to the rock. !!! The boatman thinking fast which way to head down…time is run out fast before the strong current push the boat to hit the rock…
Still got some time on the clock, we continue my DAY 2 wild trip.
Got 2 groups going for barramundi lure fishing today.

Set off at 5.30am (before the first light).
The saying : “Early bird catch the worm.”
So “Early angler catch the fish too.” keke !!!
My all time favorite rapala skitter pop for sebarau and toman.
I’ve instructed my boatman to aim for sebarau on our DAY 2 trip.
Guess what !!! I got myself a thai masheer on skitter pop while popping for sebarau.
In fishing, if you look for the fish, it won’t come. Suddenly out of nowhere, it appeared right in front of you. That’s fishing. haha !!!
After watching it, I feel that nothing is impossible in this world for anyone who dare to dream. We only live once in this world. Go for your dream , that’s what I’m trying to say you guys here. !!! Live life to the fullness !!! Enjoys fishing !!!
My thai kaki missed toman fishing so we decided to extend our fishing day for another day. No sleep, drove to another water resevior to fish the toman for DAY 3. Really crazy !!!
