New Forumer, introduction

Good Day!

Allow me to introduce myself to the forum. My Name is Christopher Soule and i live in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA. I was refered to this site by a friend in Singapore.

I am 37 and have been fly fishing since i was 12 and started tying flies around 18 years of age. The fly tying is going pretty well… hehe. Last year I won 21 internatioanl fly tying awards.

I lived in Singapore back in the 90’s for abot 5 years and had a blast. Fished in S’pore, Indonesia, NEw Zealand, and yes of course a feww times in Penninsular Malaysia!

Well, I hope to have fun chatting with you faolks and sharing ideas and concepts. Feel free to ask any questions too!

Christopher

Welcome aboard Steelie, small world eh, we have cross path b4 in realistic b4 this. Great works by you there. Do post some more of your realistic flies it’d be a feast for the eyes and not to mention awe on what can be done.

(I’m back to reading my Paul Willock, arrive today [:D])

Good Day,

LaPala - Great! You will certainly enjoy Paul’s book. BTW, I have been chatting with him lately and he is considering another book in the future. But the next book will apparently feature other great tiers of the U.K. Proboably 3+ years out though as these things take time… Well, I am off t try a little fishing in a bit once the rain stops… hehe.
